Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic health physiotherapy is a specialist area of physiotherapy supporting women with symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction in all stages of life, as well as caring for women during pregnancy and postpartum.
We are on a mission to spread the word that you don't have to put up with these symptoms despite what society may try and tell us about having a baby, going through menopause, aging or just being a woman.
Here at Wilsmore Physiotherapy we understand the importance of taking a whole person approach to treatment which might mean exploring the wider influences on your pelvic health such as exercise, diet, hormones, bowel habits, bladder habits, mental health, sleep and more.
Pelvic health physiotherapy isn't just about doing kegals (pelvic floor squeezes), it's about finding out the specific needs of your pelvic floor and giving you a personalised exercise programme to help you to achieve your goals.
